We're TOTALLY prepared....heh heh....sure

So, most of you are probably thinking, "great, so you have diapers. last time I checked, a baby needs lots more preparation than that"......

Well so, the truth is, we have no idea what we really NEED..... There's all those lists by Babies 'R Us and Baby Depot that tell you you'll need a year's supply of everything they have. Eh....we sorta don't think so, but we have prepared a bit.....with help....

Paul's building a cradle (pictures and details will be featured in a future post). We are borrowing a crib and changing table.

We're not using a mattress for the crib and cradle as we've read http://www.thegreenguide.com/doc/100/crib. A mattress pad, which I'll make a cotton cover with a pocket (much like the pocket-ed diapers you've learned about on this here blog) for each of the crib and cradle. Eh...Or we may want a organic rubber/wool pillow for the cradle mattress....hmmm we're still thinking....

We have a car seat:

We have a jogging stroller: , and Car Seat Adaptor

A rubber Ducky: It even tells us when the water's too hot!

"Kozy" Mei Tai baby carriers (mei tai) from this site

We have lots and lots of newborn clothes!! Yea!!

We really have no clue...as I've tried to emphasize, but this present should certainly help.....

It's a kit complete with an Owner's Manual, Operating Instructions poster illustrating diaper changing and wrapping the baby/model, a height chart, pad of While We're Out instructions for babysitters. It's really fun....

The classic parenting book....

There are three jars of bath salts here: one for Mommy--Lavender, one for Daddy--Rosemary, Clove, Eucalytus, and Cedarwood, and Chamomile for the Durfling......Complete with instructions, of course.....

Eucalan Woolwash (Woolwash)
A very sweet blessing
A travel kit complete with all the necessities....
A baby carrier...
Ear thermometer
A supersized nail clipper for Crisanto's GIGANTIC feet (heehee j/k kidding, it's a normal sized baby nail clipper)
A noise making distracter thingy that plays nice nursery music
